Mechanical Engineer, Scotch Partners LLP
Rossella is a chartered building services engineer at Scotch Partners. She has studied in Italy and has been working in the UK for 5 years, leading projects of various nature, size and complexity. Passionate about the impact that the construction industry has on the environment and on people, she is keenly interested in emerging R&D and actively engages in the climate emergency debate. At Scotch Partners, Rossella is also part of the Sustainability Task Group, a monthly meeting which provides members the opportunity to share knowledge, discuss future trends, and to develop ideas to help support the company in operating sustainably and responsibly. This includes identifying practical approaches to reducing the carbon footprint of building services design and equipment. She is now joint chair of the CIBSE YEPG (Young Energy Performance Group), whose mission is to provide opportunities for young professionals for discussion and dissemination of innovative ideas and research regarding energy performance in buildings; this is achieved via CPDs, building tours and engineering related pub quizzes.
