Dr Roderic Bunn
Dr Roderic Bunn has a track record in researching the performance of non-domestic buildings, from their energy and carbon dioxide emissions to measuring the wellbeing and satisfaction of occupants. Between 1995-2001 Bunn led the PROBE building performance evaluation research project.. He also worked on the Carbon Trust's Low Carbon Buildings Performance programme (2011), and was lead evaluator on InnovateUK's Building Performance Evaluation (2011-2105) and Invest in Innovative Refurbishment (2013-2015) programmes. Dr Bunn developed the graduated handover and building performance improvement process Soft Landings into a new professional service. The method was adopted by the UK Government for central procurement (Government Soft Landings). In 2018 he co-authored a version for the Australia and New Zealand property markets. Bunn co-authored the CIBSE guide TM61 Operational performance of buildings and authored TM62 Operational performance: Surveying occupant satisfaction. Roderic has a Doctorate in Engineering from the Bartlett, University College London. He is a Silver Medallist of the CIBSE and a recipient of the Carter Bronze Medal.
