Laura Morgan Forster
With experience in software engineering and a PhD in Physics, Laura came to the built environment industry with an enthusiasm for technical solutions to creating high performance buildings. Her work with the Good Homes Alliance and Sustainable Traditional Building Alliance, showed how important a scientific approach to understanding the implications of our engineering is. Now, at the Building Performance Network, she works to promote evidence-based decisions and interventions through the collection and interrogation of data, and the learning and sharing of lessons found there. Through all this, she has become increasingly aware of the human, psychological and social, challenges of making a sustainable world. Laura currently runs a local schools project, empowering children to make a positive contribution environmental threats.
