Kristina has worked in the lighting industry as a designer and consultant for over 14 years. She is a Chartered Engineer (CEng), Member of the Society of Light and Lighting (MSLL), Member of CIBSE (MCIBSE) and Chair of the Society of Light and Lighting (SLL) Education committee.

Currently working as a lighting designer for Atkins Global within the specialist and architectural lighting team; her recent projects have included London City Airport expansion project, Southampton Cruise Terminal and London Euston Station redevelopment (Euston Enabling for Hs2).

Previously, she worked at Zumotbel (ZG) Lighting with the End User retail team, projects included lighting design for Jaguar Landrover, London Olympia, Dixons, Bentley Motor and large roll out projects for LIDL retail, Sainsbury's and ASDA.

Throughout 2007-2015 Kristina worked as an independent lighting consultant, and in 2011 set up her own design consultancy and training practice.

Her experience as a consultant includes advice for The Carbon Trust, Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI), Building Research Establishment (BRE), Lancaster House, Edinburgh Airport, British Airport Authorities (BAA), Greenwich University and lighting designer for the Dementia Services Development Centre (DSDC).

Kristina has delivered many lighting workshops for the Carbon Trust throughout the UK, Electrical Contractors Association (ECA), guest presenter at a CIBSE events and is a guest lecturer at City University in London for MSc students.
