Dr Peter Rickaby

Peter studied architecture at the University of Cambridge and holds a doctorate in energy studies from the Open University. Before joining UKCMB he spent thirty-seven years as a specialist energy and sustainability consultant, working for the building and housing industries on projects throughout the UK and across the EU. His most recent technical project was development and implementation of an award-winning condensation, damp and mould (CDM) strategy for Peabody's Thamesmead estate in south-east London. Peter was a member of the Implementation Board for the UK's Each Home Counts review, chairs the BSI's Retrofit Standards Task Group, and is Technical Author of the UK's new domestic retrofit standard PAS 2035 Retrofitting Dwellings for Improved Energy Efficiency: Specification and Guidance.
