Mechanical Building Services Engineer with nearly 35 years’ experience in the industry as consultant and contractor including several years working for an industrial fan manufacturer.

Over 20 years as Managing Director of Vent-Tech, carrying out the design, installation, testing and commissioning of specialist LEV systems.

Works also include:

  • Expert witness legal work for cases involving exposure to hazardous substances
  • System fault diagnosis
  • Providing impartial advice on proposal assessments

Currently hold the following positions with industry institutions:

  • Vice Chair of the Institute of LEV Engineers since 2016.
  • Chair of the Industry and Regulatory Forum on LEV Competency Committee
  • Council member for Building Engineering and Services Association.

Adrian is an accredited examiner and tutor for the British Occupational Hygiene Society LEV P’Cert Courses and has delivered courses either in person or via remote access in many parts of the world including UK, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Chile, Qatar and Abu Dhabi.


Take a leading role in the Building & Engineering Services LEV sub-committee in producing TR40 LEV Guide to Good Practice.

Chair of ILEVE Technical Committee TC01 guidance to the Commissioning and Thorough Examination and Testing of LEV systems.

A regular presenter at events and conferences both in the UK for organisations such as BOHS, BESA and ILEVE and further afield such as SAIOH and AIOH.
