The UK has adopted a legal target of net zero carbon emissions by 2050. This includes the built environment. Government has announced the development of a Future Homes Standard from 2025, the Housebuilding industry is looking at how to build net zero homes and many in the commercial building sector are asking how we meet this requirement. This session will set out what we are currently doing and what more needs to be done to deliver net zero carbon buildings

What will I learn?

This session will provide insights into the technical requirements of delivering net zero carbon buildings, as well as the work CIBSE is doing to update its existing guidance and prepare new material.
