Air Quality: improving indoor & outdoor AQ

Overview: The links between poor air quality and health, wellbeing and cognitive performance are important considerations for designers and building services engineers. The needs to protect from the impacts of pollutants from outdoor and indoor sources while achieving low energy ventilation and airtight buildings can be difficult to balance. Our expert panel asks the poignant questions - what are we aiming for in AQ? Where are the major hurdles and what can building services engineers do to overcome those? Where are the quick wins and how can building services engineers best manage the uncertainties in modelling and monitoring AQ?
