Phil started his career at e2v Technologies as an apprentice, spending 10 years at the company gaining knowledge of all types of building services including 11KV electrical distribution, class 10 clean rooms and the distribution of industrial gases such as hydrogen and nitrogen. Since 2008 Phil has specialised in energy management, developing his experience in managing metering systems and the analysis of energy outputs to achieve substantial energy savings, whilst working at EP&T. After joining Broadgate Estates as a Senior Engineering Manager in 2011, Phil now heads the sustainability department as Senior Technical and Sustainability Manager and has introduced solutions to achieve energy savings through intelligent engineering at trophy office buildings in London for clients and occupiers.  He has helped British Land achieve their energy savings target of 40% from 2009 – 2016 and achieved a 50% saving on managed services at a number of properties on the Regent’s Place campus.Phil is an active member of a number of industry working groups including for the latest CIBSE TM39: Building Energy Metering report.
