Paul Wilkinson

Professor of Environmental Epidemiology

Paul Wilkinson is Professor of Environmental Epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.  He trained in medicine and epidemiology in Oxford and London, UK, before beginning epidemiological research at the National Heart and Lung Institute. At the London School his main research interests have focused on climate change, air pollution and the built environment. He has worked as expert adviser to the World Health Organization for many years, and is a member of the UK Committee on the Health Effects of Air Pollutants (COMEAP).
