Laurence is a Director at Hoare Lea and the principle of their Utility and Energy Infrastructure Group. He leads a team of specialist utility infrastructure engineers and has over 25 years’ experience in the industry. Laurence is responsible for the design and delivery of a number of key utility and private infrastructure projects both in the UK and abroad. Laurence believes in challenging the traditions and strives to find efficient, reliable and accountable ways to divert and connect developments with utility infrastructure in London and nationally. Laurence has worked with the GLA and other industry experts in a specialist working group, lobbying Downing Street’s policy department to review its electrical distribution system with a view to improve on developers electrical supply connection arrangements. He has also written guidance notes and the city of London on utility infrastructure delivery.
