16:10 - 16:25
17/11/2016

The Royal College of Physicians and The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health have examined the impact of lifelong exposure to air pollution, which included a specific look at indoor space. This session looks at health & wellbeing issues relating to poor air quality in our homes, workspaces and schools, and asks how can these impacts could be minimised and the role of building services engineers and FMs play in ensuring the nation is “breathing better air.”

  • What is the correlation between indoor air quality & health?
  • AQ is worsening – what’s the impact on health?
  • How to reduce pollutant exposure in buildings?
  • Improving energy efficiency in homes
  • What is the role of building services engineers and FMs in reducing exposure to air pollution?
